Woman Allegedly Gang-Raped Inside Famous Islamabad Mall
Incident Overview
Islamabad Police have arrested two men for allegedly raping a woman inside an apartment at Centaurus Mall, located within the jurisdiction of Margalla Police Station.
According to officials, the victim — identified as A* — was invited to Flat No. 606, Tower A, by two suspects, Faisal Jalal and Syed Hafeezullah. Upon her arrival, the men allegedly assaulted her and recorded a video of the incident.
Police Response and Arrest
The woman immediately called the police helpline 15 to report the crime. Acting on the complaint, Assistant Sub-Inspector Khalid and Station House Officer Saleem Raza reached the location and arrested both suspects on the spot. They were later shifted to the Margalla Police Station for interrogation.
Medical Examination and FIR
Police said the victim, who is married, was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a medical examination. An FIR has been registered against the suspects under relevant sections of the law.

According to the FIR, the accused allegedly lured the woman to the apartment under the guise of offering her a job and then subjected her to sexual assault. When she resisted, they physically attacked her.
The report added that she tried to lock herself in a room, but the suspects broke in, continued to beat her, and threatened her with dire consequences if she approached the police. Authorities said an investigation is ongoing and assured that justice will be served in accordance with the law.
