BISE Supplementary Result 2026: Date, How to Check and Papers

BISE supplementary result 2026 for Matric will be announced on December 8, 2026, and students across Punjab will be able to check it by roll number on their board website or by SMS. The second annual, or supplementary, examinations were held from October 6 to October 28, 2026, giving students who failed one or more subjects in the annual exams a second chance to pass without repeating the whole year.

The BISE supplementary result 2026 matters to hundreds of thousands of students. The annual Matric results were announced in August and September, and those who did not clear their papers sat the supplementary exams in October. For them, December 8 is the date that decides whether they can apply for college admission or vocational training in the same academic year.

BISE Supplementary Result: The December 8 Date

The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen, known as PBCC, issued the complete schedule for matric and intermediate annual examinations, result announcements, supplementary exams and supplementary results for the year 2026 in March 2026. Under that schedule, the results of the Matric supplementary exams will be officially announced on December 8, 2026.

The second annual SSC examinations for 2026 began on October 6, 2026. Class 10 written papers ran from October 6 to October 16, and practical examinations run from October 30 to November 17, 2026. The schedule applies uniformly across all nine Punjab boards: Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, Dera Ghazi Khan and Sahiwal.

For comparison, the first annual Matric examinations began on March 27, 2026, for Class 10 and April 14, 2026, for Class 9. The Class 10 result was announced on August 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with BISE Lahore reporting an overall pass rate of 64.53 percent. The Class 9 result was announced on September 2, 2026. Admission forms for the second annual exams were accepted from August 7 to August 19 with a single fee, from August 20 to August 25 with a double fee, and from August 26 to August 29 with a triple fee.

BISE Supplementary Result: How to Check by Roll Number

The easiest way to check the BISE supplementary result is online by roll number. Visit your board's official result website, for example result.biselahore.com for BISE Lahore, and enter your roll number. Select the examination type, supplementary or second annual, and submit. Your result card will show your marks in each subject and whether you have passed.

Each board has its own website, and the result is published on all nine boards on the same day. Students should use only the official board website, because fake result websites appear around every result date and ask for personal details. The official websites are the ones ending in .edu.pk for your board, such as biselahore.com, biserawalpindi.edu.pk and bisesargodha.edu.pk.

Keep your roll number slip safe, because you need the exact roll number to check the result. If you have lost the slip, your school or the board office can provide the number. The result card you see online is provisional, and the official result card is issued by the board afterwards. Colleges ask for the official result card at admission time, so keep it safe.

BISE Supplementary Result: Check by SMS and Gazette

If you have no internet, you can check the BISE supplementary result by SMS. Each board has its own SMS code. For BISE Lahore, send your roll number by SMS to 800291. For BISE Sargodha, the code is 800290. Other boards have their own codes, which are published on their websites before the result date.

The SMS reply gives your result in brief, usually your total marks and pass or fail status. Standard SMS charges apply. The gazette is another option: the board publishes a PDF gazette with the results of all students, which schools and academies download and share. The gazette is useful if the website is slow on result day, when hundreds of thousands of students check at the same time.

On result day, the board websites often slow down in the first hour because of heavy traffic. If the page does not load, wait and try again, or use the SMS method. The result is usually announced at 10:00 AM, following the pattern of the annual results.

What Happens After the Result

After the BISE supplementary result is announced, students who pass can apply for admission to intermediate colleges or vocational training in the same academic year. That is the main purpose of the second annual cycle: it lets students continue their education without losing a full year.

Students who are not happy with their marks can apply for rechecking. BISE Lahore runs rechecking online at rechecking.biselahore.com. The fee is Rs1,200 per subject, refundable if a marking or totalling error is found, and the window is about 15 days from the result. Students who still do not pass can appear again in the next annual examinations.

The pass mark for SSC Part II in 2026 is 33 percent per subject. Students who failed in up to three subjects in the annual examination were eligible for the supplementary exams. Those who failed in more subjects must repeat the year or appear as private candidates in the next cycle.

BISE Supplementary Result: Intermediate Exams

The supplementary cycle is not only for Matric. The Intermediate supplementary examinations for 2026 began on November 3, 2026, and their results will be announced on January 12, 2027, under the PBCC schedule. The Intermediate annual examinations began on May 20, 2026, with 2nd year results announced on September 23, 2026, and 1st year results on October 22, 2026.

Students waiting for the Intermediate supplementary result should follow the same method: check on their board website by roll number, or by SMS to their board code, on the announced date. Board-wise announcements may differ slightly, so students should check their own board website for the exact date.

The 2027 annual Matric date sheet has not been announced yet by BISE Sargodha or the other Punjab boards. It will be added to the boards' websites once the official schedule is out, and students should check their board website regularly rather than trusting forwarded messages on social media.
