Punjab Green Credit Program: Official Rs. 20,000 Cycling Reward Launched

The Punjab Green Credit Program is turning daily pedaling into real cash rewards for eco-conscious citizens. Under a new push to tackle smog and improve urban fitness, the Government of Punjab will pay residents Rs. 20,000 worth of green credits simply for riding a bicycle.

The initiative aims to curb emissions across urban centers, beginning in Lahore before scaling outward to the rest of the province.

Eligible Steps to Complete the Cycling Challenge

To qualify for the Rs. 20,000 payout, participants must meet specific tracking and verification criteria:

Distance Milestone: Log a cumulative distance of at least 75 kilometers on a bicycle.

Tracking Requirement: Record every ride using the official CM Punjab Green Credit Program Tracker App.

Photo Verification: Capture a clear photo of the bicycle used during the rides.

Submission Portal: Upload ride logs, route data, and the bicycle photo through the Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) form on the official dashboard.

Once government reviewers verify the submitted MRV form, participants receive credits redeemable for Rs. 20,000 directly into their designated accounts.
